PEORIA —

Illinois State overcame an 11-point deficit with just over nine minutes left Tuesday night to post a 62-61 Missouri Valley Conference victory over Bradley before a near sellout of 11,281at Carver Arena.

BU (12-12, 7-7), which led 9-0 at the game's beginning and 54-43 on Taylor Brown's short baseline jumper at 9:08, then yielded ISU 11 points in a row to tie the game at 4:52.

Sam Maniscalco led the Braves with 17 points, while Austin Hill topped ISU (17-8, 8-6) with 14 points off the bench. The Redbirds ended a seven-game losing streak at Carver.
