ST. LOUIS —
Bradley guard Sam Maniscalco was named to the Missouri Valley Conference all-tournament team. He was the only player not playing in the title game Sunday to make the five-man squad.
Kwadzo Ahelegbe of Northern Iowa was named Most Outstanding Player, cementing the award with 24 points in the Panthers' 67-52 victory over Wichita State in the championship game.
Also named to the all-tourney team were UNI's Jordan Eglseder, and Clevin Hannah and Garrett Stutz of Wichita State.
Maniscalco scored 31 points in Bradley's quarterfinal victory over Creighton on Friday. He followed with 10 points in the Braves' semifinal loss to UNI on Saturday. He committed only two turnovers in the two games and made 22 of 23 free throws.
