Maniscalco named Student-Athlete of the Week

Bradley guard Sam Maniscalco was named the Country Financial Student-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Maniscalco averaged 14 points in the Braves first two games of the season, a loss t BYU and a win over Idaho State. The junior scored Bradley’s final seven points in the win over the Bengals on Sunday at Carver Arena. Maniscalco also has a 3.32 grade point average wit a major in sports communication.

To be eligible for the award, the Bradley student-athlete must be a sophomore in class standing and have a minimum 3.0 GPA while also displaying a level of athletic excellence.
